1. Who We Are
europin.org is an independent web service providing free CV and resume building tools for the European job market. We are committed to the highest standards of data privacy under EU law.
2. What Data We Collect
When you use the CV builder, the content you enter (name, work history, etc.) is stored only in your browser's session storage — it is cleared automatically when you close the tab. When you click "Download PDF", your CV data is transmitted to our PDF generation server solely to produce the PDF file. This data is processed in memory and is never stored, logged, or shared by the server. We collect basic usage analytics (page views, browser type) through privacy-respecting tools that do not track individuals.
3. Your GDPR Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Article 15 — Right of Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Article 16 — Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate personal data.
- Article 17 — Right to Erasure: Delete all your data with one click from your account settings.
- Article 20 — Right to Portability: Export your CV data in machine-readable format (JSON) at any time.
- Article 21 — Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data.

5. Advertising
We display ads via Google AdSense on content pages only — never inside the CV builder. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. Ad targeting is based on page content, not your personal profile. You can opt out at Google Ad Settings.
6. Delete All My Data
If you have an account, go to Account Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data. This permanently removes all CV data, account information, and usage records within 30 days, in accordance with GDPR Article 17. For immediate deletion requests, email [email protected].
